Our Story

Coralli began its journey in 1996, when Mario’s parents created a welcoming space by the sea. Mario grew up here, surrounded by travelers from all over the world—summers filled with different languages, cultures, and shared moments. From a young age, hospitality was not a profession, but a way of life.

Today, Coralli is run by Mario and his wife Evaggelia, combining long experience with modern hospitality and genuine care. Mario is the primary point of contact for guests and focuses on ensuring that every stay goes beyond accommodation. With deep knowledge of Naxos gained through a lifetime on the island, he enjoys helping guests discover the most beautiful beaches, villages, food spots, and experiences based on their interests and travel style.

From planning days and sharing local insights to offering practical travel services and up-to-date information, Mario makes sure guests feel confident, well-informed, and free to explore—knowing they are always supported. His goal is simple: to help guests truly experience Naxos, without missing what makes the island special.

At the heart of Coralli is the Greek value of Philoxenia—from philos (friend) and xenos (stranger). It means treating a stranger as a friend, regardless of origin. This philosophy guides everything we do.

Evaggelia & the Art of Caring Through Food

Evaggelia is the soul of Coralli’s breakfast experience. For her, cooking is not just about food—it’s a way to care for people, to share love, warmth, and happiness. She trains continuously in nutrition, healthy living, allergies, and gluten-free standards, ensuring that every breakfast is handmade, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared.

Naturally joyful and attentive, she adapts to guests’ habits, prepares waffles, homemade treats, cookies for children, and little surprises that make families feel at home. Her dream is to be invited by our guests to their own countries during winter and prepare Greek nights for them, because hospitality for her has no borders.
